kudos!

I am happy for a couple of my friends who have just completed their nursing degree. V and I resigned from our previous employer at the same day. We submitted our resignation at the same hour. While both of us initially planned to pursue nursing and/or medical-related degree, I ended up taking a short course in Medical Transcription because I just do not have the passion of becoming a nurse. While V ended up completing the course happily with her boyfriend then, now husband. She gave me a call last night and I could hear from her voice the sound of fulfillment. I know that they have been through tough times because going back to school is not that easy, more so nursing. Anyways, I told her about travel nursing jobs I chanced upon the other day. The site also has travel nursing agencies which she could contact if they both decide to pursue travel nurse jobs because surprisingly, travel nurses' salaries are competitive and they seem to be well-compensated. But then again, they still have to pass the local and state boards so for now, I wish them both congratulations and goodluck on the last few hurdles of their nursing career path :).
