Wordless Wednesday #12

With hubby driving me once a week for 2 hours to and fro without traffic, this makes me think that I should really move forward and take that driving test soon.

But, what do you do when you have driving anxiety?

I know my zero sense of direction is not a huge excuse anymore because of gadgets such as GPS but dealing with driving anxiety is my major concern these days.

What to do?

I can relate. I very, very seldom drive. Don't think I have once since last June. I can. I have a liscence. I just don't like to. I get rattled easily, wonder where I am sometimes LOL. But the truth is I'm probably a safer driver than the people I trust to take me where I want to go. I stay home, or stay put, ALOT. Works for me. I love walking too :)
However, all that said, It is exhilarating when I finally do get the gumption to drive myself somewhere. It’s so freeing. You are going to love it. Just maintain your boundaries and initially at least the first few times do it strictly for fun so that it becomes rewarding rather than a chore. Go off exploring and having adventures .

Just relax and enjoy the view. Try other routes once in a while. There's GPS anyway ;-)

Happy WW!

I'm not sure why people think that everyone is meant to drive. If it's not for you, skip it. My husband doesn't drive and he never will.

once you started driving and being able to go places on your own.. the feeling is liberating.. but then later on you will get tired of it.

When i was just learning how to drive.. i told my husband that I am not going to drive over the speed limit.. let alone 70mph... now I am going with the flow...you have to.. or else people will run you over.

goodluck on that driving...
