RVs.

Summer this year seems to be the hottest Summer I have ever experienced here. Would you believe that my son were told to wear sunscreen in school every single day. I guess it was more of a precautionary reminder. It is also the time of the year when most of our neighbors take out their RVs and Trailer vans for camping and fishing trips. I would suspect that most of them have driveway alarm system installed because these RVs can be very expensive. I was telling DH that I would love to own one someday maybe similar to the one in the photo :P.

online shopping.

I have stopped subscribing to sale alerts and other mass email advertorial campaigns because DH and I have vowed to make this year, a year for savings :). However, I must admit that I still find ways how to spend my paypal earnings thru my Online shoppers aka Bebot friends hee hee. But you can't blame me if I get to save more when I shop online because of the various discounts and coupons such as these vitacost coupons. Absolutely there are more great deals online than in store. I guess DH understood that part of me, that yes, I may still shop from time to time but I make sure to only shop sale items.

moving light.

I was so caught up reading these weight loss success stories, when I realized I still have a few online tasks left before I savor my last few hours of weekend and Monday is here again. Fortunately, I have completely adjusted to the new work. Everything seems to be a breeze now that I have carefully where, what and how I spend my spare time. Yes, the key is in time management and I hope I keep my focus. In the meantime, we are moving very soon and we need to move light, meaning I need to throw or give away stuff that we do not need for the new residence. This photo reminded me that I will need more than a week to declutter and pack DS' stuff sigh!

productive Sunday.

I love productive Sunday. I really do.
Finding these cadillac accessories as requested by dear hubby was like a breeze because I have already visited CARID.com before when he needed those halo lights for LEXIE. The site is just amazing as it has everything you need for your cars, trucks and any vehicle for that matter. It is also a wealth of information on tips on how to handle your cars with care.

Moving on, yes, it was truly a productive Sunday and I am oh-so ready to rumble for the coming work week. I just hope the traffic in the bridge tunnel wouldn't be so bad otherwise it will be a completely different story :P.

the lil imp.

I was just organizing DS' baby photos a few hours ago and I cannot help but reminisce the good old preggy days. Yes, I love being pregnant. I never missed a day without taking my prenatal vitamins, reading baby books and what-not. What is nice about being pregnant is the fact that all people make you feel extra special. You feel pampered in a good way. I was also watchful with what I eat then and can you believe I did not take any junk food and soda for the whole 9 months. All for the love of my lil imp. I wonder when we will ever be ready for another baby hmmm :) nightynight y'all!

Us.

When we were still staying at DH's Aunt. Our room was situated just across the 2nd floor veranda and on weekends, DH and I would wake up very early to watch the sunrise, have coffee and chit-chat. I miss those days. We still have our alone moments but it happens in the living room watching DVDs and pigging out (which reminds me I need to check this fat burner reviews site).

Should we build our own home, we would definitely have a veranda because the ambience adds to the romantic feel of having our own moments in the comforts of our home.

skin issues

Two of DS' classmates have serious case of eczema. The first time I saw them, I got really worried at their situation because they were nonstop scratching. Until I spoke with other parents and realized that having eczema is normal in this place were winter can be so harsh and then the kids have to adjust to extreme heat during the summer. I am just grateful that DS do not have any skin issue but I guess I should not speak soon because his dad has a history of skin asthma.

SIL love.

My SIL who recently got their Magic Jack has been calling me and hubby every single day since then. I miss her mucho. I know I shouldn't have any favorites but she is my favorite SIL. Our convo last Sunday varied from humor down to drama, so yes I cried and laughed at the same time. She does not even mind the time difference because she makes sure to call me during the mornings here which is night time at their place. She said that she'll just apply night wrinkle cream and other undereye cream to avoid dark undereye circles. I hope they come visit us soon, though.

on losing weight.

I guess as we age, we tend to be vertically challenged. Not just because our lifestyle tends to change making us enjoy food more and exercise less, but more of our metabolism slows down. No wonder more and more women would turn to the best diet pills for women available online. It is the fastest way to shed those pounds but one has to be very careful in taking them. Consulting your physician is very important before taking the plunge.

the countdown begins.

So DS is starting his big school slash Kindergarten by end of August. I so can't wait. In fact, orientation will be pretty early as they need to change the preschool furniture with bigger ones. The preschool department will be transferred to a new building so they need to do a lot of moving. On the other hand, my boy isn't excited at all. He is loving his Summer activities as of the moment and wouldn't want to end his Summer vacation anytime now.

little savings.

An aunt-in-law is gaga over discount codes and coupons. I have shared her obsession of collecting these stuff from daily press, online and mail. She has a clearbook where she keeps all these coupons and would label and organize them well. I think she is the only person who is into this until one of my friends whom I met in NYC brought with her so many printed discount coupons which she got online in preparation for her NYC shopping. WOW! I heard that she saved a lot when she visited the outlet in Jersey. I guess I better start printing those discount coupon alerts I get online. Speaking of printers, I have to check this epson receipt printer for my Aunt-in-law.

Reset. Restart. The Beginning.

Another nice entry from ALPHA and I am reposting it here before I choose some designs on promotional tote bags which hubby asks me to check on. Tote bags are really nice corporate give aways as they are very useful. Also, if you want to promote your brand names, totes are nice idea to carry it and market your company's products and services.

This article is very nice and I hope you like it :). Alpha got it from ONSimplicity.net.
Reset: Imagine looking at your life and remembering that many of the obligations in your life are actually choices. And then happily choosing to continue them, but on your terms. That’s what a reset is all about.

1. Disconnect to peripherals.
Anything that’s not a vital necessary can, and perhaps should, go. (At least for the time being.) Keep going to your job, keeping parenting your children, and please, keep showering. The rest? Take a few days to consider them optional. This includes get-togethers, side projects, and any and all hobbies. Do the things you love and have a clear interest in doing, but take a break from the things that are more habit than passion. I stopped blogging, cooking, gardening, and even skipped a game night. And guess what? The world kept spinning. It was a beautiful realization.
Disconnecting to the nonessential is an excellent reminder of the obvious: they’re nonessential.

2. Take a rest.
Equally amazing is how much better a person can feel when they’re getting a decent amount of sleep. And with all the peripheral commitments on the backburner, you can actually unwind at the end of each day without jumping into a new activity that sets your mind racing.

3. Start flipping switches back on “on.”
Resetting isn’t about dropping out of your life. It’s about finding space to invite in those things that you love. Once you’re disconnected, rested, and a bit more of a blank slate, you naturally drift toward the things you’re really interested in. Jackpot! Maybe you’ll pick up your toolkit and starting tinkering with things, maybe you’ll rediscover a joy in fiction, maybe you’ll realize that not doing your regular hobbies drives you crazy. Either way, your expectations are gone, leaving you free to explore based on what your interests are now, not 10 years or six months ago.
