THE Coca-Cola.
This is a very interesting tumblr photo. A comparison of how Pepsi and Coca Cola's logos evolved throughout the years. You have to admit that we all love Soda at one point in our lives. And yes despite the fact that we dread to check weighing scales after we drunk too many Soda, it is one of the thirst-quenching drinks during Summer. Ahh. But, I am proud to say that I am Soda-less for almost 2 months now :). And yes, I only drink Coke products.

stress reducers

In this crazy world, we would get stressed every so often. They say the secret is how you handle your stressors. You see, whatever way you handle these stressors would depend on how you would look physically. While most women would prefer applying anti wrinkle lotion, some would recommend following these Stress Reducers: (from justbesplendid.tumblr.com)
- Do something that will improve your appearance. Looking better can help you feel better.
- Schedule a realistic day. Avoid the tendency to schedule back-to-back appointments; allow time between appointments for a breathing spell.
- Become more flexible. Some things are worth not doing perfectly and some issues are well to compromise upon.
- Eliminate destructive self-talk: “I am too old to …,” “I am too fat to …,” etc.
- Use your weekend time for a change of pace. If your work week is slow and patterned, make sure there is action and time for spontaneity built into your weekends. If your work week is fast-paced and full of people and deadlines, seek pace and solitude during your days off. Feel as if you are not accomplishing anything at work? Tackle a job on the weekend which you can finish to your satisfaction.
- “Worry about the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.”That is another way of saying: take care of the todays as best you can and the yesterdays and the tomorrows will take care of themselves.
- Do one thing at a time. When you are with someone, be with that person and with no one or nothing else. When you are busy with a project, concentrate on doing that project and forget about everything else you have to do.
- Allow yourself time - everyday - for privacy, quiet, and introspection.
- If an especially “unpleasant” task faces you, do it early in the day and get it over with; then the rest of your day will be free of anxiety.
- Learn to delegate responsibility to capable others.
- Do not forget to take a lunch break. Try to get away from your desk or work area in body and mind, even if it is just for 15 or 20 minutes.
- Forget about counting to 10. Count to 1,000 before doing something or saying anything that could make matters worse.
- Have a forgiven view of events and people. Accept the fact that we live in an imperfect world.
- Have an optimistic view of the world. Believe that most people are doing the best they can.

not so glamorous Heidi Klum
I was meaning to research on where to get loose diamonds for my mom who is planning to have some of her jewelries customized when I chanced upon this photo of Heidi Klum.
Yes, this is Heidi Klum, ladies and gentlemen.
She looks so unglamorous in this photo.
Must be the hair?
Or the huge tote bag which doesn't match her outfit.
Oh well, she is human after all, there are bad hair days, lousy outfits but at least, she managed to smile at the Paparazzis.

still undecided.
We are still undecided which townhouse/apartment to get from our top 2 choices. We paid reservations for both of these townhomes but DH has not decided yet. Although most of our stuff are already packed. I really love choice #1, however, the road leading to the entrance of the townhome, does not have any roadside assistance plan. Oh well, I guess by next week, we would come up with a final decision. We promised the little boy to paint his room instead of his usual all-white room in our old place.
Here's sharing some of the photos of kids rooms I snagged from Desire To Inspire blog.

good news
Yey, I am so happy for my cousin, M who recently passed the Nursing Boards. We were not aware that she was even gonna take this season's Board exams because she already failed the past 2 board exams. Now, that's the determination from a young girl who won't give up. She is now on the hunt for a job that would pave the path for her very successful not to mention lucrative healthcare career.
moving soon.
Finally, DH and I have decided which house to get for our next move. As I have mentioned our lease in this town home has already expired in July but we were undecided at that time whether to extend the contract or terminate it. Until last week, we found the perfect place. I am pretty excited about the move because this place has the best kitchen, particularly its sinks are the best. I hope I can find time uploading the photos I took and will surely share it here.
