My dear husband loves to collect all kinds of tools, he even has micrometers in his toolbox. At first, I could not understand why he has to have that much tools when nothing is happening in our simple and cozy home. I mean he just needs the very basic tools that a house should have but eventually I just learned to understand his inclination on being the handyman of the house hee hee.
